Allan E. Mesia
Allan is an Attorney and CPA whose practice focuses on business management services for passionate clients in the entertainment, media, fashion/apparel and hospitality industries.
A graduate of Brooklyn Law School and University of Illinois in Chicago, Allan is a licensed attorney in California, New York and New Jersey and a Certified Public Accountant in California and Florida.
His unique background allows him to service clients with all aspects of business management, tax and financial consulting. Allan serves as a business manager to entrepreneurs in various industries, high net-worth individuals, musicians, record producers, managers, record labels, music publishers, actors, directors and producers.
His past professional experience includes EMI Music, Woods & Middleton, LLP, Deloitte (tax, licensing, royalty audits), and Tommy Hilfiger. Allan has also consulted with the Beverly Hills business management firm, Mejia and Kaplan, LLP on major touring and film clients.
Allan founded Mesia Group in 2009 and is most proud of his dedication to growing with clients knowing that he is creating financial security and transparency within their lives. A father to two sons he appreciates the importance of future planning and often gets referred to as “the Dad” by clients and his staff!
Allan also has experience as a music engineer/producer and as a drummer/guitarist/songwriter and is thrilled he has the opportunity to combine his education and experience with his passion for the creative arts and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Laura McManus-Mesia
Laura, an Irish native, relocated to the US in 2015 and proudly joined Mesia Group in 2016 as Group Director of Development & Marketing. A graduate of the University of Ulster, Laura has over 20 years of experience in senior-level marketing positions with a major focus on the non-profit industry.
A people person she certainly is, and is most happy when working with clients, developing relationships with key stakeholders and within her Philanthropic Advisory role in supporting MG clients with their private Foundations and charitable giving strategies.
As the main driver behind the Mesia Group’s philanthropic culture of investing 5% of the firm’s net profit back into the community, Laura is thrilled to work with the TJ Martell Foundation and Nosotros as the 2020 selected MG charities of the year.
Laura & Allan Mesia (yes, she is married to the boss!) are proud parents to James Allan & Miles Geoffrey and are thrilled to instill the sense of family and security into the MG office and their clients lives, just as they do with their own family.
There are many things Laura loves about life at Mesia Group but it is the “pride of creating secure financial futures for clients” that makes her smile the most!

Angel Dryden
Angel joined the Mesia Group in February 2019 and instantly found a home. She has over 20 years of bookkeeping experience, working in many different industries including construction companies, real estate brokerage firms, and government entities. Angel is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is planning to continue her education in accounting.
Outside of work, Angel is a wife and Mom of a beautiful little girl, Jayde. Angel spends most of her time attending sports and church activities with her husband and daughter. Angel enjoys jogging, playing games, and relaxing at home with her husband Shannon.
Megan Ruble
Megan is a proud graduate of UC Irvine with over seven years of experience assisting creatives to thrive financially. Previous employers include Mejia & Kaplan, LLP and the Grammys. Megan joined Mesia Group in 2016 as an administrative assistant and was promoted to bookkeeper in 2017. She's passionate about this company's unique perspective on empowering creatives and entrepreneurs to reach their goals.
Pamela Rykwalder
Pamela has over 12 years of accounting experience. She joined Mejia and Kaplan as a bookkeeper in 2014 where she worked on various high profile clients. She joined Mesia Group as bookkeeper in 2017 and found herself surrounded by friends. Pamela shares Mesia Group's passion for empowering entertainers and individuals to pursue their career goals while helping them to thrive financially. She looks forward to continuing her career with this one-of-a-kind firm as it moves towards its bright future.
Ellen Mcpherson
Ellen is from Northern Ireland and is a graduate from Leeds Metropolitan University where she studied Business, Sports and Event Management. From here she found her passion for business development, communications and financial planning and set her sights on the bright lights of LA!
With over 5 years experience in client relationship building and finance within the UK & US, Ellen is thrilled to be part of the growing MG team.
As one of the firms Book-keepers, Ellen thrives when helping clients understand and manage their financial business, present & future goals and being part of the day to day business that makes that happen. Attention to detail and numbers is Ellen’s core strength and she loves to live by the old Irish saying “If you look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves”!
Having joined Mesia Group in 2019 and appointed as a Book-keeper and Marketing Assistant she is the proud digital creator for Mesia Group’s not for profit initiative, The Business of You. What does she love most about the MG team? – well that would be “the exceptional team morale and the core aim of the company – adding value to our clients”!
